The new arrangement of exhibit areas induces visitors to experience a comfortable sequence of spaces revolving around a circular information desk that serves as a focal point and punctuates the entire gallery. Gallery walls are surfaced by paintable fiberglass cloth laminated to plywood backing, enabling the attachment of heavy objects and simple repair of the wall surface.
