The new station becomes an integral component of a new urban armature as a non-building below a landscaped roof garden. Emerging from the garden, a metal lattice cone serving as a ventilation exhaust, glass shard skylights and an undulating cloud canopy become a metaphorical reference from the sea to the mountains and sky beyond.
