In each district the adaptive reuse of existing high rises into mid-rise apartment building capitalizes on the existing infrastructure and establishes the framework for new development. Owner occupied “four flats” as stacked two level dwelling units reclaim the sidewalk frontage in the reestablished street network and recreate urbanity.
